Private Message to Paul McCartney

Dear Sir,

I really liked your last album Chaos and Creation in the Backyard — in spite of the fact that you should have prolongued Fine Line’s brilliant ending and that the pipes in English Tea are almost unbearable. But what really appealed to me is that on the cover you have SHORT hair. Please keep them like that and, please, put an end to those long hair that we usually have to endure („Vokuhila“-style, as we say in German). These hair really look horrible and they betray everything that, I hope, you stand for. If you killed those hair I’d even forgive you Ram’s b-side, most of the Wild Life album and all of 1979’s Back-to-the-egg LP.
